Extracting ourselves from the situation we find ourselves in is “either easy or impossible.” Simple - when we ourselves want it to be simple. Lester Levenson. 99% of problems are invented and created by your mind with your permission, your intention to have this or that problem. Any problem begins in your mind. A problem is just what you call a “problem.” In the same situation, one sees a “problem” and the other sees an opportunity. The one who wants to see a problem sees a problem. He who wants to see opportunities sees opportunities. For one, problems never end. The other one simply doesn’t have them. He doesn't need them! Why do people need problems? I will share my personal observations. 1. A problem, just like an illness, is an excellent way to attract attention to one’s person. 2. A problem and an illness are both a way to achieve the desired changes. Have pity on me and do as I want. Change the situation that doesn't suit me. The world must bend under me. But that is not all. He must guess what exactly I need. Most often, such problems are given special importance and are classified as “unsolvable.” 3. A problem as a way to fill a void. I have a problem and I need to think about it. I have to look for the cause of this problem. When I think, I am busy with something. 4. A problem as a way to justify my inaction. Where it is necessary to act, a person only talks about actions. Reasoning about actions creates the illusion of the action itself. 5. A problem as a way to avoid the unwanted. When a person cannot say “No!”, he “finds” a problem for it. Instead of “I don’t want,” it’s easier for him to come up with a story with “I can’t, it doesn’t work out.” Quite often, a problem appears out of nowhere. What is does not coincide with what should be. The image of yourself, your partner, your family, your happiness, your success, your life does not coincide with what actually is. If you didn’t know “how it should be,” would you be just as dissatisfied with yourself now?... Several times in my life I had the desire to go to a consultation with a psychologist. But as soon as I sat down at the table and wrote down the formulation of my problem on paper, it immediately ceased to be a problem. I saw her decision in the very wording. I wish the same for you.
