- Yes, you generally do what you want! My friend said indignantly, and I wondered if this was a compliment or a complaint. I really try to do exactly what I want, and I try not to do what I don’t want, it doesn’t always work out, but I can be proud that most of my life, about 90%, consists of what I really want. I would like to talk about how we live, how we choose, what to do, what not to do, how to interact with other people. I’ll tell you another story. I returned to my hometown and my home yard after a couple of decades of living in different places, in the capital, abroad, in St. Petersburg. During this time, I managed to change several areas of activity, receive 2 more higher educations, and achieve a certain reputation in narrow circles. During this time, my life completely changed dramatically three times. Once I had to start completely from scratch, even from minus. I return to my home yard and discover that most people live the same way and in the same place. In fact, nothing has changed for them in 20 years. They themselves have not changed. It was as if we were stuck in time, in a swamp. They had a program: you need to go to college, get a job, start a family and live like that. And I can’t say that these are bad goals. Family and children are definitely good. Stability is great! I would even envy them if it weren’t for the same conversations. It’s good for you to say, you have a job with which you can travel, you feel good, you have money, you feel good, you know what you want... But I can’t, because: I have no money, I earn little I can’t risk changing jobs or opening my own business, I have current obligations I can’t move because I have relatives, friends, an apartment here I can’t do what I love, I don’t have time, it’s occupied by things I don’t like I can’t buy a dream car, build a house, send a child to study abroad, my friends, a person is not a tree, he can move, I checked. Most often, all our limitations are in our head, we simply do not allow ourselves to live the life we dreamed of! Man is generally an amazing creature, he can create his own reality, not in an esoteric sense, but in the real. Before we do something big, we usually create a project or image in our heads, on paper, on the computer. Then we make a plan to achieve this. And then we take steps in this direction every day. And pretty soon our reality changes and we find ourselves in that very new world - the world of the dream that was in our head. You just have to be true to yourself, your values and go for your dreams. I have achieved my dream life three times in my life. That is, I discovered that I was living exactly the life I had once dreamed of. Can you do it? Have you achieved your dream life? Write in the comments! See you tomorrow! PS Do what you want! You will succeed!
