From the author: Published in my LiveJournal A familiar situation: you are full of creative ideas, but somehow you can’t get around to them and you don’t have enough time? Get to know your resistance. Someone inside (like once outside), apparently puts a lot of pressure on your creative part, so all your energy goes into resisting this someone. Thanks to resistance, there is a chance to get acquainted with how this inner “someone” kills your creative ideas. For example, “he” can do it like this: Devaluate: “What kind of business is this for an adult!”, “This is not serious, you’d better do something real (then comes a list of real things: homework, cleaning the house, making money), “This funny”, “This is some kind of nonsense”; Comparing is not in your favor and devaluing again: “Yes, how many have already done this before you, what masters! Why climb?”; “Look how many fans (readers, clients, students) you have, you don’t have that many - your creativity is worse”; Put forward the highest demands: “Everything must be perfect, excellent!”, “You must be the best!”, “You must be the first!”, “You can’t make mistakes!”; Blend in with others and fantasize about how they want to see your work: “To like it, do it this way”, “No one does it like that”, “No one will like it” , “You will be judged for this”; Urge: “You’ve already thought of everything - do it!”, “You need it - let’s do it!”, “You wanted this yourself - now do it!”; Criticize, put forward pessimistic forecasts: “You’re lazy”, “You still can’t do it”, “You won’t succeed”; Take the place of your creative part: “Surely you want to get creative!”, “I’ll help you now, everything I’ll plan and organize!” Awareness of how we “kill” our creative part gives us a chance over time to find other words for it, words of support.
