The Balance Wheel is sometimes called the Coaching Wheel and is one of the most popular coaching tools. The balance wheel allows you to easily and quickly answer the questions “What is most valuable to you today?”, “What area of ​​your life needs your attention right now?”, “If you could do only one thing for this day, what would it be? Today I will describe one of the popular ways to build a balance wheel. Our life consists of many areas. There are, of course, people who only prioritize sleep and work. But this can hardly be true; at a minimum, they still have to eat something and live somewhere. Is the number of spheres related to the quality of life for you? Do you think that a mother raising a child around the clock has a less fulfilling life than an avid traveler, coach or trader? How many areas do you currently highlight in your life? Would you like to add or remove anything? What exactly? The cocktail of life is different for everyone, and only you can determine what is missing from it - fresh mint or a slice of lime, meetings with friends or deadlines at your favorite job. The technique of finding balance in the areas is very simple. You draw a balance wheel (you can think of it as a glass, top view) and divide it into slices, according to the number of spheres in your life. Then for each ingredient you determine the optimal state. What should your relationship be like for it to make you happy? What would be the best state of your work? What kind of vacation will bring you delight and relaxation? Where will your ideal home be located? Designate this state of the sphere in the balance wheel as ten. And then in each of the areas, think and determine at what point from 1 to 10 this ingredient is now in your cocktail. And mark this value on the glass. Now you have a kind of wind rose for your life. You clearly see which areas of your life satisfy you. And now think about where to start moving. Which ingredient will best enhance the taste of the cocktail? Which wind will refresh your life better than others? This will not necessarily be the most unmanifested area or the one that you are accustomed to consider the most neglected. But it must be something that will respond in your heart and soul as “Yes, this is really very important for my life now, in the current period, it will make my life more rich, full, multi-colored.” And when this sphere or several will be determined, mere trifles will remain - decide what you will do next in them, in the very near future. What steps, even small ones, will change your current state and bring you closer to balance? Maybe you've been wanting to do something for a long time, but didn't dare or didn't have enough time or patience? Now the sketch of your life is in front of you. Feel like an artist. Make those few strokes that will give the sketch volume and perspective.
