I want to share what is relevant even for me now. My clients often ask me for simple tips on how to cope with apathy, loss of energy, lack of motivation, and depressed mood. A good psychologist, as you know, does not give advice. And, as my clients know, I don’t give advice. But, as a blogger, I’ll be happy to share a few life hacks in this post.1. Get off your butt and do something. Yes, yes, take your buttocks off the sofa, bed, or whatever else you put them on and do whatever you want. Prepare food, clean the apartment, move the closet, hang a picture, wash the windows, etc. Important: provided that the above is not caused by severe physical and mental stress. 2. Take an hour-long walk, preferably in a park. Walking not only has a beneficial effect on your physical, but also on your psycho-emotional state. Walking releases endorphins. What is this hormone? That's right - happiness.3. Play sports. Running, swimming, cycling, rollerblading, skiing, skating, gym, God forgive me, etc. Why? See above4. Physical education of the eastern sages. What the hell is this? - you ask. There is a set of simple, but not very effective, exercises to awaken energy and restore contact with the body. Ask (+ in the comments) and I’ll send you a video lesson. Aum.5. Breath of the East. Lots of different breathing practices. In our case, it is intensive breathing that will help launch not only the work of the sympathetic systems, but also charge the mitochondria - the energy station of our cells. It is possible and even necessary with rhythmic music.6. Cat therapy. If you don’t have a dolphin, a horse or a psychologist at hand, but you have your favorite cat, you are saved! I'm joking, of course, but playing with animals really helps. Yes, and there is a lot of research on this topic. In general, there is something in this. The most important thing! Remember that saving a drowning person is the work of the drowning person himself. Without your sincere desire to get out, progressive actions and desire for better changes, even a good psychologist will not help. Joseph Breir, for example, never overcame Nietzsche's illness, if that's any consolation. Be healthy and happy!
