Summer is a small life. This is 3 months of unlimited time for our children. When all the lessons are over, the transfer exams are over, you can take a break from tutors and clubs, sections, additional schools, parent lectures and parent meetings, then it’s time to think about how to spend the holidays. And it largely depends on us – parents – what our child will become by the end of summer, what he will learn and master, where and with whom he will spend this time, and most importantly, what thoughts he will begin the new, more adult school year with. Not every parent has the opportunity to be with their child all summer. Some will be lucky: I will travel with their parents, while others will study abroad. The rest will sit at home or with their grandmothers, or wander aimlessly around the city, or stay in a summer school camp in a polluted city. But children grow up and want new experiences, discoveries and travel. After all, every day is a small journey that a child, and we adults too, go on. FROM A JOURNEY WE RETURN NOT THE SAME AS WE LEFT. But there is one place for a child in which he can do a lot in a fairly short period of time. This place is a children's health camp. A camp with its own characteristics, structure, system of approach to the child, built with a meaningful program. It could be a language camp, a sports camp, an Orthodox camp - it’s up to you and your child to decide. The main thing is to understand that at the moment (and for future investments) it is more relevant and interesting, first of all, not for you, but for the child. No matter how much we, the modern generation of parents, are FOR learning and mastering foreign languages, if it is NOT interesting to your child, then you should not impose and “drag” the child to where he does not want to go of his own free will. This will be a waste of time for the child, respectively, the parents will waste money and nerves, but what’s even worse is that you will gain persistent distrust of your children in the future, since you did not listen to the child’s OPINION. This is very important for him at any age. He will return from this journey confident, joyful, filled with emotions, impressions, new skills and knowledge. And he will not only be able to write an essay on the topic: “How I spent the summer,” but will also return with vivid and important memories that will remain for many, many years. The camp is not only an opportunity to realize oneself, but also the ability to build relationships in a team, understand others, find a compromise. This is a great opportunity to learn how to make friends and value friendship, make new friends, or even fall in love. The camp shows the child his strengths and weaknesses, which can only appear here, because many things happen for the first time. The camp is also a place of contact with one’s fears, old and new. Struggle and overcome, finding strength to overcome various kinds of situations. Unfortunately, we very much protect our children from the difficulties that exist in life. There are a lot of such difficulties in the camp: you have to take care of your appearance, wash your clothes (many children learn to wash their clothes by hand at the camp), help set the dining room, wash the floors in the rooms, go on hikes. The camp helps you show greater independence. that moment when a child realizes that his mom and dad are not next to him, he is forced to make decisions himself, for which he has to bear the corresponding responsibility. He learns to understand what he wants and what needs to be done. He learns to analyze and understand that there is a team nearby called a squad. And whether the squad wins or loses will depend on his actions. Many parents are very worried that the child will leave, and there will be one without them. But these worries relate more to the fact that the parents themselves are worried that the child will not be around. In fact, this anxiety, which has nothing to do with the child, is the parents’ personal, strong anxiety. When you spend a lot of energy and time on a child, it becomes difficult to imagine.
