I spend most of my time working with people, with their severe emotional states, crises, problems in interpersonal relationships, obsessive-compulsive disorders in children. All this takes a lot of strength and energy, so especially after difficult sessions, when the client does not make contact well, resistance turns on, does not complete tasks and is generally skeptical about psychology. I have to restore my resources so that it doesn't get to the point of physical or emotional exhaustion, indifference to work and then burnout. And with burnout, the psychologist simply will not be able to work efficiently and be effective. What methods of restoring energy and strength I use, I will tell you about this further. 🧘‍♂️BODY CARE, sleep at least 8 hours, walk in the park/exercise, full lunch, foam bath, dry brush massage. I thank my body for everything it does for me. 🌈COMMUNICATION WITH PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT AND CHARGE ME, this is not only my family, but also friends, colleagues, like-minded people. Well, if everything is really complicated, I definitely go to my psychotherapist and work through the pressing issue. 🕵‍♀️DECLAMPING, I free up physical and emotional space, I usually start with the wardrobe, throw away everything that is small, old, that I haven’t worn for a long time and what I don’t like. Then comes the kitchen, the bathroom, and so on until the space in the apartment runs out. It takes no more than a week to declutter. Next, I clean my phone, my gallery, SMS, and social networks. I try to do this every 3-4 months. 💃SHOPPING, shopping is like medicine for the soul, I especially like to periodically update my wardrobe, underwear, hats, bags, accessories. I buy whatever I like, then wait for delivery and enjoy the moment of unpacking. 📖 PLANNING. I go to VB and order the most beautiful diaries, pens and write everything down on paper. Goals, dreams, training that I plan to undertake. I also try to plan every year, month, week, especially important events, birthdays, travel. 📚STUDYING. It was not for nothing that I chose a profession where you constantly need to grow, otherwise you will drown in the swamp of stagnation. I love cool training with professionals in their field. But sometimes I just read or listen to books, podcasts, communicate with colleagues, watch interesting videos on YouTube.🏠I CREATE COMFORT AT HOME, I love doing household chores, it’s not only cleaning, but also cooking, smart use of space, creating an interior, I love when everything lies in its place: soft blankets, candles, sweet aromas. I want the space around me to be fresh, comfortable and cozy. I also love to cook, every weekend I try to make a new dessert. 🎆CREATIVITY, everything related to writing articles, blogging, creating reminders and guides for parents. This requires inspiration and a calm environment; I usually do it at night, when my family is sleeping and I can completely relax and immerse myself in the process. I’m also a fan of singing, in the shower, in the car, when I’m preparing dinner and waiting for my husband to get home from work. ❓What fills you with energy? Write in the comments.
