From the author: I am reprinting the article from my website. You can share your favorite fairy tales in the comments. If you want to receive my comment, then write not just your favorite fairy tale, but and describe why you liked her so much, what was your favorite, as well as your question about work or vocation, the answer to which you want to receive. Once upon a time, while studying different areas of consulting, I realized an amazing thing - what kind of person is in front of you? you can find out literally by a few phrases, by his answers, or even by the fact that he did not answer some question. Plus, at that time at the institute we studied projective techniques - how to find out a person’s character from drawings. It turned out that every line has its own meaning, even if a person does not know how to draw at all, from his “doodles” an experienced psychologist will be able to “read” everything he needs. And this applies not only to drawings, this applies to any type of creativity, you can a lot to say, for example: - by the stories, words and phrases that the author uses; - by the colors, strokes and images that the artist uses; - by the pictures and stitches that the embroiderer uses; - by handwriting when we write; - and even by those songs, films, fairy tales that we love. If there is an opportunity to ask a couple of clarifying questions, then the person will open up to us like a book. For example, if you like detective stories, what does this mean? If you like action in detective stories, it means that you yourself are an energetic person. If you like a detective story to have an intricate mystery, then a job where you need to solve various complex issues is suitable for you. And the more confusing the question, the more interesting you will be at work. That is, from your favorite books, films, and any of your creative products, you can find out not only your character, but also what you should do. Why am I saying this? As you know, my favorite topic is the topic of Destination. Now I have another group, which means I think a lot about the questions of the participants off the air, and I remembered my childhood, what I dreamed about. For some reason, my thoughts concentrated specifically on the fairy tale about the ugly duckling. “The fairy tale is a lie, but there is a hint in it, a lesson for good fellows.” I remember that I always felt “different”, not fitting into the norms of society (school, institute), and at a younger age I reassured myself that one day, when I grow up, I will definitely find “my flock” of beautiful swans. Then, of course, a lot was forgotten, and already at the institute, when we studied projective techniques and in particular fairy tale therapy, we were asked to remember favorite children's fairy tales, and then the teacher explained to us why we chose these particular fairy tales in childhood and how they influenced our destiny. At that time I “deciphered” my fairy tale literally - as a child I still thought that I was very ugly (according to the fairy tale the little swan was considered a freak and he considered himself such), and when after the lesson I began to look through my photographs, I saw that I had always been attractive, very beautiful, and that with age I really became more and more beautiful. I simply compared myself with the wrong ideals, and was afraid to reveal my merits (according to the fairy tale - when the little swan looked at the swans from behind the reeds, he wanted to become the same and when he dared to look out, the swans accepted him). Now I saw in this fairy tale my own life has a much deeper meaning. I am very grateful to you for inspiring me to do a webinar on how to become a coach, because while preparing for it, I once again remembered my whole life - how when and under what conditions I came to my activity. And now I see how much This fairy tale gave me - after all, my environment (especially school, classmates) did not understand me, I was “not like that” for them. I really tried to stand out outwardly (since I’m not like that, I’ll be even more “different”). The only thing that saved me was the club, where I felt like I belonged, where I strove with all my soul and all my thoughts. Where I could say and do what I want, where I could express myself, and where.
