If you heard a “lecture” today that living the way you live is simply a crime, you need to take life seriously, you need to work hard, want little and have even less, and your The “whim” of getting into the Carlsbad Caverns has no right to exist at all, then you should know that you have talked with a typical “poor-faced” person who is not able to live easily and naturally. If you responded to this “attack” with a smile and, “purring” a cheerful melody under your breath, continued to feed the fish, write bills and pack your backpack “for the caves,” then you, apparently, are a real “achiever” - a person capable of receiving pleasure from the process of life. The majority of people are somewhere in the middle. If you grumbled yesterday, and today you are full of strength and energy, then most likely, “your” and “other people’s” programs and desires are confused in your mind. Your strength is wasted, you have reached the finish line, the result is not pleasing, who needed it, you didn’t understand, this is how “other people’s desires” manifest themselves. But, for sure, you have also encountered the fact that an unexpectedly purchased item or trip suddenly became a bright moment in life, and you felt a great charge of cheerfulness and inspiration for the future. For such pleasant accidents to become patterns, you need to learn to listen to yourself, filter “your " and "someone else's", reconsider not only your old desires, but also constantly introduce new, truly yours, desires. If, consciously choosing “I want...” you can make a mistake, then your body will not allow this to happen. In the practice of “achievement” there is such a thing as the “aha reflex”. When you see, hear, touch something, certain reactions arise in the body: a surge of strength, a desire to move, joy and excitement are manifested in gestures and facial expressions. This is how the body communicates its “Aha!” If your reactions are poorly developed and you don’t yet know what you want, then we will train your “aha reflex”. Listen to melodies and songs of different styles and themes: music from movies, cartoons, patriotic songs from different years, etc. Listen to your body and try to determine which category this work belongs to: “achievement” or “wrinkling”? How do you want to move? Do you catch the "Aha!" in your body or do you want to “freeze” and switch? How does your mood change? You will probably hear the words of songs that either depress you or, on the contrary, set you up for an easy and joyful perception of life. Select “achiever” melodies for regular listening. Play “Clap your hands.” The simple and well-known children's game “Clapping Your Hands” will help you free yourself from the inner “wrinkler”. You place your hands, palms down, on your partner's palms, and he must have time to touch them (slap them) before you remove them. The game will allow you to relax, “wake up” the child in you, your reactions will be natural, open, excitement and joy will appear from the process itself. Remember your feelings, your body signals “Aha!”. Play “Squiggles”. This game will also help awaken the “aha reflex.” You need to play in pairs. Take a pencil and a piece of paper. Close your eyes and start drawing a continuous line from the center of the sheet - a squiggle. Then your playing partner looks at what you've done and, with a few lines, turns your squiggle into something meaningful. Catch the “aha reflex” in your body. Look at the drawing again and add a couple of strokes, you get something new. Your body responds “Aha!”, and if you add a couple more lines, it will turn out... etc. There is no final goal in this game; you train to “live” in the flow and remember the feeling of joy. During the day, ask yourself at least 5 times: “What do I want to do now?” Feel the reaction in your body. Does it support your desire, is there a surge of energy to fulfill this intention? If this is your true desire, then it will be difficult for you to stay in place; you will want to immediately jump up and do what you have planned. Gradually, a joyful recognition reflex will develop from within you. Skill!
